Yes its true.A women said she was assaulted at his home.Its my guess when he was at the police station when asked would he like to make a phone call,he said ill phone a friend, MY LAWYER.

TV presenter Chris Tarrant has been arrested after a woman claimed she was assaulted during a domestic incident at his home.

Tarrant, host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and Colour of Money, was arrested at his home in Esher, Surrey.

The 62-year-old was questioned by officers at Staines police station, Middlesex but was later released without charge.

A Surrey Police spokesman said: "Police officers attended an address in Esher at 12.58am on Thursday March 5 following reports of a domestic dispute.

"A man in his sixties was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to Staines Police Station.

"He was later released without any further action being taken."

It is believed the alleged victim was not Tarrant's former wife, Ingrid, 56.

Their 15-year-marriage came to an end when Mrs Tarrant hired private detectives to investigate her husband over suspicions he was being unfaithful.

Lets just ask the forum,..How do they feel about domestic violance,;as the norm is,the man,Never has,..The women Keeps Quiet,But alass at times one can see,..is the same if its a Female abuser..

I left my first husband,because of this,after many years..The fear is,He will come after you still....

Thanks No 1, I also worked helping others,as group facititator of all sorts of support.in all areas,35yrs..and to think i left school at 15yrs Knowing little...

and now i an on here,,,Tiss funny..still learning,each day,and doing my best..

and to think i was told at school all the time i was Stupid..i am just pleased they are not able to shout at the kids like that today..
