Butterfly (Public Relations Executive at Korineum) didn't get the chance to reply as I guess she is too busy, BUT we have gottheshanks (Golf Pro Michael) to answer your questions. As per the previous posts, I am summarising the unanswered questions of our forum members: 1. By Golfkid: Membership allows for only a certain number of rounds per year what happens when those rounds have been used ? 2. By Golfkid: Is it a properly constituted Golf Club with an elected committee? 3. By T Peg: Where are the missing original 100,1000 pound memberships because I spoke to somebody yesterday that paid 1600 pounds for joining fee and the membership is still not 100. (Izzet: not sure what T Peg is asking) 4. By T Peg: Does the club carry 3rd party insurance? 5. By T Peg: What about the free lessons now being offered what are you going to offer your existing members? Izzet

T Peg and Golfkıd, Thank you for your questions. Answer 1 - You pay a members guest rate 35 stg per round or pay your subscription and renew your allocated rounds. Answer 2 - As from April the 1st 2007 Yes Answer 3 - I'm not sure what T-peg is asking but however, confidential. Answer 4 - Yes Answer 5 - Members who have joined since the offer has been in place are entitled to 10 free lessons. Members who joined previous to the offer are not. Once again thank you for your questions and I hope I have satisfied your queries. Keep them coming

As the clubhouse is the nearest drinking establishment to my house I would like to make use of it,BUT how can you justify charging 6 YTL for a small beer??

Gooligan, Thanks for your question. I don't know if you have been to the club yet or if you are a member but as a member you are entitled to a 10% discount on the bar. If you go to the leading hotels in the area I think you will find that Korineum is actually cheaper for a small beer or any other drink. Afterall it is not a local bar it is gradually becoming a very exclusive golfing destination. Thanks again Gooligan

What is the tournament that will on 31 March Saturday? Is it a regular tournament set up by Korineum? or a sponsored one? How many golfers participated in the last tournament? Izzet

Hi Izzet, It is the Halkın Sesi Korineum Open and is sponsored by Halkın Sesi. Everyone is welcome to play but MUST have a handicap. 37 players participated in the last tournament, it was a good day and 36pts was the winning score. Thanks MJ

Dear MJ, You answered the questions in part but failed to explain the main one. The membership joining fee was stepped, first 100 members £1000 and increased as more members joined. (That was the information posted prior to opening) Why was it increased to £1600 before the membership had reached that level. Why is it that some people are still able to join at a lower fee? Why is it confidential? T Peg

Hi T Peg, If you have any queries regarding the membership please contact the membership office (0392 600 1500). As for people still joining at the lower rate, I don't know of any. If you would like to call me person you can use the extension 36. Are you a member ? Thanks MJ

I believe Michael has already answered your questions and he has been very clear about it. Any membership questions should be asked to the membership office.

Thanks Izzet, MJ Dear T Peg, I am the Head Pro of the golf club and do have a say in some of the issues regarding membership and the running of the club and the course. But I can only put my points across during the comittee meetings when all of the management and the captain and membership representitive is present. But again, this info is confidential, especially to non-members! Thanks MJ

Hi yipps i have sent various emails to the club pro with no replies to date. I am just trying to find out how many lady members there are and if there are any competitions being organised and is there a lady captain. We are coming to live in TRNC in September and have our membership forms ready to complete but just want the questions answered before we complete.

There are six female members, I believe. Competitions will eventually be a monthly affair. There is no Lady Captain.

Hi All, We do in fact have 27 lady members some of whom are leisure members. Most probably a Lady captain will be elected within the next few months. Tansycat, are you sure that you sent your e-mails to me ? When the sponsored competitions start before the end of this month they will be played on a fortnightly basis. Thanks MJ
