Hi Steve and Irene from Suffolk placing our first posting. Can anyone recommend someone who make and fit fly screens. Have had a villa at Edremit for just over three years. Just got title deeds e-mailed through from solicitors, we will collect when we come out again in two weeks time. Have read with interest many postings, some issues of which we have also experienced ourselves during our TRNC adventure - most of which we have to say has been good!

Hi Steve and Irene

Welcome to the Forum, from experience and what I have heard Mr. Fly is excellent and at the moment he is giving a discount before the summer months so get in touch when you are here. My Son used him he had white mesh and they fit so well and look nice

Hi Steve and Irene. Nice and sunny here in Bury St Edmunds too this morning. We're off this afternoon to Hopton (Potter's Leisure Centre) for what will be, hopefully, a good evening of entertainment with a lovely 5-course dinner. Have lived up here for 9 years having moved from Bexley.

By the way, would recommend Mr Fly - we did our screens ourselves but friends have used him and highly recommended.

Enjoy the sunshine.

J,

Interesting that you did your own. Where did you get the screen material please as I have some odd bits that still need doing but not with super fly screens.

Waddo, message 6. Sorry have not been in touch - away yesterday and last night. The reason we did ours ourselves was because we only use our apartment as a holiday home and it was more economical for just a few weeks a year. If you've just got bits and pieces left to do, and they're not particularly big areas, B & Q do them. I would say that they're not particularly sturdy, but may do the trick.

Thanks for that, it is only odd bits - small garage window (keeps the wasps out) sort of things. Will ask my bother in law to fetch some bits with him when he comes on holidays.

I used Proline PVC for the main windows and am really happy with them and the excellent service they provided. Very good prices as well by the way and their fitting staff were happy, helpful and cleaned up afterwards too.
