Amber this is the other book shop i was referring to on your other thread. If you head for the centre of ozankoy you will find it as it is about 20 steps from the mosque

Sorry Amber ..here goes: From Kyrenia, the new harbour roundabout next to the Pia Bella Hotel; Go straight across the roundabout towards Catalkoy, you will pass Lemar on the right after a few yards. Follow the road and until you see a new restaurant on the right called 'Chicken Wings' (Landmark estate agency, Olgun furniture are also in this building), turn right by the side of Chicken Wings. Follow road up to a 'sort of' t-junction and turn left, the road will then split into 2. If you take the left fork and follow the road you will come to a very small crossroads (be careful as most people forget to stop here and there are a few accidents), go straight across and as you reach the top of the road at a 2nd small t-juntion the new bookshop is directly in front of you. The mosque is to the right of this junction and the old mill restaurant Five fingers bookshop and restaurant is to the left of this junction and then on the right hand side of the road. Good luck

Oops, forgot to mention that if you are coming from Esentepe direction: Turn left immediately after you pass Erdeners supermarket which will be on the right.

Amber, You are welcome. I haven't visited the store myself yet as it is so new but will be heading up there in a couple of days to check it out. I don't know what you are looking for but have you ever been to the market on friday at pegasus bar, karaoglanoglu or chateau lamboussa on a saturday, you can get good 2nd hand books at excellent prices compared to new prices. At pegasus i can pick up novels for about 4-5tl, and in good condition. The ones at 2-4tl are a 'little worn'

It is every friday from 10 am to 1pm though many go there from about 9.30am, it is very british and expat but it is a good source for reading material. As i said it is mainly novels you will find there and if you are looking for something in particular it really is hit or miss as to whether you find it! Good luck

Amber, It seems like a rumour was just a rumour and nothing else, i see on a couple of other threads, one being Libby who runs the bookshop at 5 fingers, that five fingers restaurant bookshop is still open and will remain so which is excellent news. Sorry to five fingers and i am really pleased to hear that you are still open. Good luck with the flower show, we will be along to support you.
