| If you object to the floodlight over Karsiyaka and Lapta every night, Cyprus Today are taking a photograph of all non-bashful objectors outside the offending club at 4 pm Wednesday (tomorrow). Strength in numbers...
No banners, flags or tooting of horns, just our tactful statement of their not so tactful intrusion...

| Why does the Cyprus Today need a picture of people outside of the night club?
If the reporter was up to the job they have enough material with the negative attitude of the district officer, the negative attitude of Lapta Belidiye and the fact that a petition was handed in to the Lapta Belidiye. The reporter could come down late in the evening and see what an eyesore the searchlight is and then follow up on what the authorities are doing about it in the light ( no pun intended ) of the petition gathered over two days.
Having said that I will be in attendance this afternoon and if you do not want your summer evenings spoilt by the light please turn up as well cos if only a few turn up it will result in a victory for the night club.

The photo appointment is going ahead. fyi the reporter did not insist on it being outside the club, just suggested this might be better - I agreed.
Please come if you can (and bring anyone else who can make it). |

Do you really think that a polite request to the club owner to switch the light off would work?
At least some of us are starting the ball rolling, but as usual it is the few who do so the many can benefit.
Do you also believe that the club needs any advertising ?
