| Does anyone travel south for medical care. Is it allowed or not as citizens of the eu or do we only qualify if we live in the south? I felt sure that I'd read about ex-pats going south for treatment with their cancer etc. Seems highly unlikely with a Trnc address that the GC's would register you for an E121 form but stranger things have happened. |

| In short to receive medical treatment as part of the reciprocal EU wide agreement- one must be registered in the RoC - the area they effectively control. The short-term solution for UK resident using their EU Health card will not work if the UK find out you aren't UK resident. | Hi mitsi, The E121 is supposed to be for tourists only, who are visiting another European country. When I lived in Italy, I was not allowed to use it but had to join their social security scheme. I cannot see how you could get away with living in the TRNC and getting prolonged treatment in the south. The butlers wife |

| Hi Mitsi, I have used medical facilities in the south and always had to pay for them as the E121 is not recognised if you live in the trnc |
