7 people taxi transfer from Ercan

Hi,



Does anyone know of a taxi/minibus company who can pick up 7 adults and their luggage from Ercan airport, or will they need to get 2 taxi's?



Or if they hire 2 cars, will the hire car company pick them up from the airport for free?

Contact any of the hire car companies, they will meet you at the airport, arrange the paperwork and your off!

You then drop the car off at Ercan at the end of your stay. All quite painless. If they are not familier with the area the hire car company will pick them up and get them to their destination.

Call Serhan at Bellapais Taxis - they have large vehicles. Collect you at the airport and take you to your destination. Very reliable and come highly recommended.

Seveners always reliable not sure if they still do it but if you hire a car from them they pick you up at Ercan free of charge. Check their web site

thanks for all your replies. The problem is that there are 7 passengers + taxi driver so there won't be enough seats for all the passengers, cos that only leaves 6 seats left. And Stewart, you're right, they won't fit the luggage in as well. So I think 2 taxi's or rent a cars will be the best idea, they don't really want to drive to and from the airport themselves as they will be tired, so i'm gonna try a few hire car companies and see if they will be able to pick them up from the airport.

Just checked Seveners also do an 8 seater Ford Tourneo if this is any better for you. Check it on their web site. Also discount for booking on line

The law over here is only 6 people in a taxi now and reputable companies have taken out extra seats to comply with the law, a bus is only lawful vehicle to take this many passengers for reward. An Opel Zafira will hold 7 people with luggage if you hire and arrange for collection from airport, it is legal for you to drive with 7 people aboard. Bellapais rentacar have such vehicles.

Cherry when you say you have a mini bus for 8 people does that mean it will take 8 passengers or 7 + driver. I was under the impression which scruffdog said, that you are only allowed 7 people in total. I am asking because I have 8 friends coming over on the 7th August into Larnaca.

When I said 8 passenger, i meant 8 passenger plus the drivers . Today we took 14 people from Larnaca to Karşıyaka,one of the our cars took 8 of them and the other one took remaining 6 .
