Hospital Services in Girne/Lefkosa

Last week I was advised to call at Girne Hospital,with a few problems.I saw a doctor within 5 minutes.In an ambulance within another 5,and taken to Lefkosa with sirens wailing.

I was examined immediately,had a brain scan and in a neurological ward in minutes.

It was a minor stroke.The dedication of all the nurses and doctors was outstanding.

I thank them all from the bottom of my heart.

I was discharged after 4 nights.The cost of all treatment,less than 150Tl.

Hi Michael

I am so glad you are home and you are OK, I did text you again to see if you needed anything, but I presumed your battery had gone.

You have given us all hope in the future if we have problems they were quick to respond, and to be treated so soon is wonderful and how cheap was that. Praise can only be given to the wonderful Doctors and Nurses.

I agree they are brilliant.



Mrs had to go to girne last week seen within 5 minuites treated and on her way in less than 15 fantastic service and free.

Glad you are OK Mike and that your treatment was so first class. It gives us all hope for if we, god forbid, are taken seriously ill. Look after yourself and now I know why you need a woman to do your ironing!!!!

Maggie,get here soon!!!Fed up with a glass of Pepsi for lunch!!!Bernie has been fantastic,no wonder you are such a great couple!!!My bestest friends all because of a mattress or two.

Mike - wasn't aware you'd been under the weather and glad to see you're on the mend.



I have heard nothing but good reports about medical care out here and it's nice to know that that is indeed a fact.
