Just something many may not be aware of , from 1590 onwards almost all ottoman sultans(rulers) who were also the caliphs ( leaders of the islamic world ) were half greek !!! aswell as many other notable individuals ! so we can and have lived together , when we marry their women it seems http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_Muslims
