What happened to the Pandemic?

It was only three weeks ago that the World Health Organization declared a health emergency, warning countries to "prepare for a pandemic," and said the only question was the extent of worldwide damage. Senior officials prophesied that millions could be infected by the disease. But as of last week, the WHO had confirmed only 4,800 cases of swine flu, with 61 fatalities.



Was this a conspiracy by the world governments to take our minds off the current economic crisis?

Its all about news Bill. Two weeks ago it was swine flu, last week it was the politicians putting their hands in the public pot, this week its all about the Speaker, will he do the honorable thing and resign or will he be forced out.

Same thing 3 years ago, goverment were bracing themselves for up to 750 thousand deaths[ according to some papers, no not the Sun] Came and went without trace !!!
