We are in the final stages of purchasing an apartment as above and would be interested to hear from anyone on the following:



1. Anyone else who has an apartment in this development.

2. Recommendations for someone to do snagging.

3. Recommendations for someone to manage.

4. Information re new laws for land registry.

5. Anyone used or using Naomi Mehmet (solicitors), comments good or bad.

6. Recommendations for purchase of furniture, are the packages worth it?

7. Any news of the Port Cyprium Marina development.



Info on any of the above would be welcome.

I was over there yesterday and it is looking superb, friends have moved in and I believe they are the first residents, their names are Trev & Gill (hope I got the names right, private joke) Trev says if anyone wants to speak to him his e-mail is trev.charlton@hotmail.co.uk he is in block F apt 5

Point 5 - As long as there are no complications then all is well. If it starts to go tits up then she tends to shy away from controversey. Someone frightend of no-one....Mrs Peyman

Point 6 - Just shop around. Play them off against each other. But most of all Get it in writing!

Point 7 - Very quiet. A bit to quiet.

You might want to try and get the basic furniture package negotiated in with the price you've been given. Usually the bedding packages are a bit boring and you might want to take your own, we bought outr own kitchen and dining stuff too, more than the list of items, for less than the price quoted.

Looks like we might be neighbours, I am in Blok G.

I too am looking for a decent supplier of furniture, if you get any good leads I would be grateful if you will pass them on. Worth a pint at the Moulos Inn.



If you have not already done it, the land registering needs to be done in Famagusta ( I was given a bum stear and wasted time trying to do it in Girne.
