Wow really? In April it was 10 too. In fact, its been a tenner since i can remember. Not suprised it has gone up then, but a bit disappointed all the same!

that is a bad move for a family of five to now pay £75 in the credtit crunch it would put many off atrip to Turkey. do you have to pay it if you fly to Ercan via Turkish airport

No, you only buy the Turkish Visa stamps if you enter Turkey through passport control. No visa requried for transit via Turkey.

It was a £10 when I stopped off in April and I was shocked as last time I was there

it was only £5! 100% rise, then a 50% one. Off-putting.

Probably the EUFA final prompted a profit opportunity cynical about tax collectors yes !

Just look at the Fyfer GB over the last 10 years the devil is in the detail .

The cost of a visa for Polish people to visit the USA is ridiculous. No cost for UK residents

I saw on a previous post where kiwi's do not get visa charges to Turkey

The UK denied a Turkish friend a visa in December to visit the UK for a holiday

Denied him the chance of proper Beer and seeing Wanderer win

My MP is Jewish and married to a Turkish lady

My Doctor in the UK is Turkish

Borders should be free for all people to visit and enjoy each others cultures without hate or fear

We should all Live long and prosper

Message 6, I don't know how long ago when you went, but only £5. We went to Turkey when our son was 16 & it was a tenner & he is 29 this year.

if you're bothered by the £10 or £15 visa fee per person, you could us a TRNC id card on entry to Turkey. No visa fee for TRNC id.

Unsure how to obtain a TRNC id card though, or what the eligibility is, or how much it costs (either in money or agro!)

I am going to Turkey next Monday expecting to pay £10 as usual. Hope the rate is going to stay high as at present and get good value for money, going to Yalikavak a beautiful spot on the Bodrum peninsular.

Msg 21

If you are travelling on a UK passport the 90 day Visa should be charged at £10.00 per passport. That is what we were charged in Istanbul last week.
