Burglary in OZANKOY last night 2nd June

Hi



Just to let everyone know another burglary also happened in Ozankoy last night, again the patio door was forced open. He was also burgled in the same way 3 weeks ago, and my parents house was also burgled in Ozankoy last week, through the patio doors. Again, only money was taken, even though there was jewellery lying around.



Please be aware and try to secure your patio doors as best you can. I hope they catch the little S***ts as soon as possible.

Kelly,

Ozankoy is a big place. Can you give us an idea of which area's have been effected please? I.E. near to Erols or by Dream Castle. It will make my night time prowling with the nasty dog have more direction!

Just round the corner from you, they had another go again last night as well to the poor guy, thats 3 times in 3 days he's had his doors forced open. After the first time a few weeks ago, there's no way there is anything in that house, but its extremely unsettling.

The east side of Ozankoy has had many burglaries in the last few weeks. I heard one TC stumbled on them in his house and they ran off disposing of face masks. They appear to be after money and jewellery.

They have tried our place a few times in upper Ozankoy as well - they leave it alone when we are in the UK - but as soon as they see people there they try. Its also happened to all our neighbours as well. We all have the pins in the windows (by serdar) and it really stops them - they have not succeeded. Still getting fed up with it damaging the window frames, so have now had strong metal shutters fitted to help deter. The problem is that while there is still a lot of building in the area the builders are wondering around and it is hard to distinguish who should and shouldnt be around.... Lets hope they catch them soon - they clearly target tourists for cash - and the authorities better get their act together on this, as it is a sure fire way of putting off tourists returning !!
