Taxis do have meters and you should ask the driver to use it if he doesn't.

You would need to get in touch with a taxi firm itself, some run off metres, but some dont bother. It is safer to make sure they start the meter otherwise they may overcharge you!

How you know if the meter is calibrated right?



Call and ask for a fixed price if travelling a long distance.



(Dont trust a meter)!!!!

why don't you give the bell tower restaurant a call in belapais,they picked us up and dropped us back off to kuckuk Erencoy,which is well passed the golf club for free. Worth a thought

Message 6 the charge should have been about £20-25 not on meter reading but fixed price

Last week Ercan-Karsiyaka 105tl on the metre,that was an airport taxi....



i estimated it would be 100tl so not too bad
