Amnesty this year for visas

Does any one know when the next amnesty will be in 2009? And is it still a charge of up to one months wages?

I have residency myself, but have a foreign friend who would like some info.

it doesnt actually say how much the fine is for anyone over their visa that is still here???? I have a friend that is over visa and waiting for amnesty?????

1190tl per day over the expiry date of your visa.

i read it twice but really could not get any idea about fine for anyone over their visa they said they will charg if u fail to get ur application in on time

also that applies for people not in the country, need to know about amnesty fines for people over visa that are oon the island????

thanks for the replies, but i see no one really knows much more than i do !! lol.

also, i've heard that the new border opening in yesilirmak, you wont't have to use a passport to cross, something to start off the 'peace' of the island. is this true??
