Savyon/Thalassa Charge for signing contracts

I am in the process of selling a property I bought through this Company Kensington Developments ie. Savyon, Thalassa, Karpasia Villas, Turtle Bay and have been informed that the developer will not sign any resale documentation unless they are given a £500 admin fee. It did start off at £1500 but my Estate Agent argued the point and the figure was changed. Has anyone else come across this?

Yes, I have asked my solicitor to confirm this prior to signing contracts and it is still 500, am meeting with her in two weeks and also the developers, really going to fight to the hilt to get something in my contract to agree to a lower price. I have also asked for clarification from the developers of why they can charge this/justify that fee in the hope that this will aid our bargaining skills - here is hoping tho - suggest we all do the same if possible. The more who kick up a fuss the better as it will indicate that we are not all willing to be ripped off xx
