Just to say that I will no longer be posting on Cyprus 44, for personal reasons. I will, of course, browse and I will also keep in touch with the many friends I have made on here over the years. I imagine that Paul will continue to post (he's in bed at the moment).



I know this will not be a great loss to most people, and rest assured ( you know who you are) I will definitely keep in touch with those who matter to me.

Hi Jean, although i dont know you personally, i have made use of the information you have posted in the past.

I know how you must feel about some of the idiots who post on this site. I now choose which posts i respond to because of the stupidity of some of the replies. You have to realise that some people have nothing better to do than try to cause trouble and upset by their posts. What a sad life they must lead.

I was challenged last week on the thread to welcome Lilli home, the person in question said to the effect "why are you welcoming her back, oh is it to get your post count up?" Ehh? Why make this comment? I did ask the question.............Got no reply.

It is the silly little snide remarks that put me off posting most of the time, or I sometimes think ' I won't put my own view/personal opinion on that thread, someone may have a go at me'

Paul has just phoned me from work and told me to look at this post. I am overwhelmed by your support - thank you all for your very kind sentiments. Please rest assured that it was not any particular topic, or person, that made me reach the decision, although I can certainly see how quite a lot of you reached that conclusion! I think that, of late, I have probably spent too much time on the board - we know how addictive it can become - and I have become a bit saddened by the way some of the topics have gone off thread and become personal. I know, I know, I'm not backward in coming forward myself Anyway, what I think I'll do is give myself a break for a month or two and then see how I feel. I know already that I will miss all the good stuff!

Hi Red you know I posted Harrys death but life does go on. we rely on friends on here and Jean was helpful to so many. We use this almost and I say this losely as a chat room and decide who we want to talk to. Many as you see including me will miss Jean.Luckily we have other ways to speak now
