Thankfully there are also some great places NOT to have football imposed upon you. But I'm not going to tell you where!

I have to agree the atmosphere in the Castle is really great and they serve a mean drink too. Nice cold beers and lots of ice in your vodka and tonic - something that seems to be sadly lacking in some pubs. They always have plenty of bar staff too which means you don't have to hang around waiting for your drink. They always remember what you have had too which is good and the homemade burgers are excellent. Blimey, I haven't been for a while so really should get myself down there

The Castle Pub Is great! Wouldnt go anywhere else! Is very much all about football, a really nice friendly place with a large mix of supporters from many clubs! - a real local pub for expats with some great banter! Give it a try, you wont be disapointed! Great burgers too!!! Mr C
