The most encouraging report regarding crime in TRNC is that the police catch these offenders quite quickly as the recent spate of burglaries proved .

They caught the guy who broke into my place, just sentenced to 7yrs in jail, recovered about 75% of our property. Kudos to the Police who did a great job.

Stockiefan,msg 7,good to hear that they meet out appropriate punishment for crimes against individuals in TRNC. UK criminals are protected by the ECHrectums,and therefore have more rights than the innocents....painting a couple of bus shelters is all they would ge in the UK!
