I have been asked by a Family member if I can recommend a hotel for their

holiday next year. Must be Family friendly and preferably have direct access to a beach.

Thanks in advance.

Gary

Chris767,

The Malpas is a great hotel but for the purposes of this thread it doesn't have a sea front location and no access to a beach.

I had friends stay at the Artemis last year and unless they have changed their pricing policy it was extremely expensive to go and spend the day with them on the hotel grounds for people not staying there and you had to be out by 6pm. This was last years rule, so I'm not sure if things have changed since but worth checking.

The L A Hotel in Lapta is, although very close, not close to the sea front and doesn't have access to its own beach.

I beg to differ, but LA does have its own private beach, (which I think is the best beach in Lapta). The hotel has an under-pass which takes you from the main hotel side, to the other side of the road.

The LA Hotel in Lapta has its own private sandy beach with connecting underpass to the hotel. Their beach area has bar and snackbar, infinity freshwater pool and., jacuzzi. there are also pools both inside and outside within the hotel.

The Denizkizi beach is down a steep slope and has dive boats and jet skis belching out fumes all day-very relaxing!

The Jasmine beach is rocks.

Msg 9

The Malpas has a superb beach club with minibus transport back and forth.

Acapulco fits the bill apart from the title word "quality" !

message 16 - The beach at Deniz Kizi now has a large jetty built out quite a long way into the sea (by the rocks at the end) from where they run the water sports. It is much better now the jet ski's, boats, etc. are not going out from directly from the beach. Much quieter and, as you say, no fumes belching out in close proximity to the beach.
