You can launch it at Lapta just past the LA Hotel on left coming from Alsancak and Rosy's Bar on the right. Most of the things you require you could get from the boat shop almost opposite Lemar in Karakum if its still open.

He means you need to put your SSR No on your boat. You can buy the sticker numbers from any car asseccories shop or maybe even Mr Pound. There is a marine shop on the way up from the harbour if you go up through the old town via the pathway rather than straight up the steps, you will get your TRNC flag there.

Try Kimgfisher, for all your boating needs, good stocks, see Darrel speaks perfect English,( well Aussie) very helpful guy, As for launching well several places mentioned, The new little harbour at Lapta, down the side of Silver Rocks has a nice slipway. Looks nice drop off into the water, and it,s nice and wide. Sorry forgot to say Kingfisher are now on the left hand side of main Rd, going out of Giirne towards Bellapais, just after Electrocur, lies back a little bit, next to a electrical shop that has fans outside. They also have the most amazing selection of fishing gear etc.

Hi all, 'Camelot' charge 35ytl for boats and 20ytl for jetski's but this price does include launch and recovery plus assistance if required. 35ytl is not cheap but is considerably less than Sunset Marine. Launching at Silver Rocks site is free but only recommended in 'flat calm' conditions (as damage to my boat would confirm). Regards, Scamper.

As regards a UK flag you may need some one to bring one out for you.You can pick one up from any boat supplier back in the UK. The flag must be visibel at all times so if its an avon type boat mount it on a metre long pole off the back transum As far as TRNC goes not sure where you might get one. But log on to the Yatch club in the UK they should hve info that might help Mike

Why would the 'boat' need a British Ensign when registered to the TRNC? Richard
