There is also a book called 'Walks in North Cyprus. I am not sure if you can buy it in the uk. It is written by

Christina Hessenberg, Alison and Derek Dowey. It lists walks times, kms, difficulty, how to get to the starts of the walks .... very good.

If you were to look for it over here, I would suggest you try Five Fingers Restaurant first, it may be the type of thing they would carry, alternatively look in the library behind the post office and see if you can borrow it for your friends.

you can buy the walking book in the Round Tower at a cost of 25 tl. We find it pretty good although some walks are out of date eg Malatya Waterfall.

Email nick@bayley.biz. He has a number of interesting walks on every weekday, guided and including transport. Have a look on http://www.cyprusactive.com and click on 'Riverside Walks'.
