| We require passport photos rather urgently, can anyone suggest best place, preferably Girne.

| Near the Kombos Dolmus stop by the Belediye (municipality) Square - across from all the cafes.
They are aware of British Consulate requirements for passport photos but alert them all the same if that's what you need. |

| Also just past HSBC about 50 metres on the left going into town the photo and camera shop. |

| Agree with Tarry67 - have used their photos this year to renew passports here(May) and UK(July). Consulate say they must be on a white background, post office in UK say grey/cream. All ours were on white backgrounds and we got our passports ok. |

| if you wear specs regularly,take them off when having photos taken for passports.....we had problem with this in uk...they have to be able to read tour eyes now apparently. |

| I used YUKELs opposite ASTRO Supermarket on the Girne road where it is convenient to park. It took about 10 mins and I got 8 photos for 15TL.
However when I got them home I could see they wouldn't do for a UK Driving Licence renewal - too much shirt!!
I took them back the next day. Another chap was behind the jump who immediately understood the problem without me having to show him the regs in the DVLA guide. He ran off 8 more photos that met the regs in about 5 mins and no charge.
If you have them, the answer is to take the regs along with you but I cannot fault the service at YUKELs. |
