| Hi Can anyone please tell me how İ go about getting a work visa & if you know the cost. İ have been offered a part-time job & would like to know this before İ start. Thanks |

| i'm assuming you are British ? It's not the employee who sorts the permit out, it's the employer.... They have to show that the job has been advertised and to prove that a Cypriot couldn't do it, before they will issue a permit. quite possibly the employer won't bother because of the cost and hassle implications - which would then you would be working illegally.... | If they issue you a permit and that is a big if, your employer has to pay a bond of i think 700 euros which is returnable on the termination of your permit, most establishments say that the employee must pay this, i would think it unlikely that your prospective employer will go to this trouble, and you will be working illegally, check with them. |
