Hi

As we were leaving Girne earlier, we heard the thunder and saw the clouds gathering over Catalkoy so we went 'storm chasing'. It was fab, the rain was hammering down and as we drove up into the village the water was gushing down the little streets, so much so that we had to pull over at one point.

The plants are all a bit battered but all the trees look lush and green and all the dust has washed away.

Yesterday, lovely sunny cold day here in the Borders, today miserable,wet, windy, but weathermen say we are in for a barbeque winter?? Roll on the 7th..

Nice here today, feels warmer than when we arrived back, the wind at the airport almost sent me back in to get another ticket back lol. Today sunny and mild and the delight on my grandsons face that I was back made me even warmer.
