| Anyone know if a mobile phone I bought in Spain will work in TRNC. I'm not very tech minded! Please. |

| Doubt it but take it to the Phone shop opposite Kibris they will help you out and tell you if its possible |

| It will probably work as it is if roaming is enabled via your Spanish service provider. Very expensive though as every call you make will be an international one. Far better to buy a pay as you go chip (there is a booth by the car park in Girne), and buy credits from the supermarkets as needed. |

| take it into the Turkcell shop in Girne', opposite side of road to Mr Pound, the girl in there speaks english, she will sort you out with a sim card if its compatible, if it is you will be up and running straight away. |

| Hey, probably you need to "unlock" your phone before being able to use another SIM card (I'm using a Spanish cell phone and that is what I did)- Good luck! |

| Mine did .. Bought in the Canaries .. Had to be unlocked .. Turkcell sim card fitted .. No problems .. |

| If your phone is not locked to a service provider in Spain, it will work here with no problem, just place kktcell or telsim vodafone sim card in it. If it is locked, you will need an unlock code from your provider, or do it manually from a phone shop. |
