Can anyone tell me if there are any rules on how long British boats can stay in the TRNC? Also do you have to pay any vat or other taxes if they are kept here?

You need to go to Harbour master in the harbourfor official advice right at the island past the bathroom shop , you will find his office turning left after the bathroom shop, be careful of the armed soldier near the gate entrance frightened the life out of me as i was not aware he was there until our pathways crossed .LOL

You wont find the harbour master there.

Go into the ferry port second building on the left up stairs.

My advice is let sleeping dogs lie, if you want to discuss it pm me and a tel no

British reg boat can stay here with no problem and no time limit as far as I am aware, though you will have to pay the first time entry fee, not sure how much this is.

The boat we just bought had been here 5 years on british reg before we paid the VAT and imported it properly. I have other friend swho have had theirs here for up to 10 years with no problems.
