I gotta say last night at shayna beach club was a brilliant night, the sounds that man gets out of his guitar were amazing,a true pro id say.cheers for a good night barry AKA SNAKES,youll have to practice on some of your jokes mate.!

A good turn out also and it looked like every 1 really enjoyed the night.

For those that might be interested and couldnt make it down there,there will be 3 or 4 videos on here in a short while.

Let hope we can hear you in the summer in the outside bar.

Also for the people that talked all the way throught the first half, why not go to a pub and do that and let us who appreciate good music listen to it - so rude in my book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shame I didn't get to meet up earlier this year. Not back out until April next year but there for three months. Have been playing down the grove,Sheraz and the Polar with Mr jeff,Anna and Kelvin. Not so hot the vocals so I rely on good singers to take care of that. I have been doing the Shadows, Gary moore instrumentals etc but with Mr Jeff a some Bowie,ZZ top, Thin Lizzy,Robert Cray,Pete frampton,Clapton etc. usually blag an input on the PA but Should have the Peavey out by April. have a nice Strat plus deluxe ( tucked away in catalkoy) at the momment. Would like to get together next year with a good muso if your up for it.

Fantastic night last night, well done Barry!!! awesome guitar playing and excellent vocals, this guy is a pure natural who oozzes talent, felt like lighting a fire last night when i got home and throwing my guitar into it.. Hopefully he'll put a show on again, you'd be stark raving mad to miss it. Well done Anna too, brilliant as usual..

What a superb evening. A stunning performance by Barry that was both powerful .with just the right mix of humour. and at times very emotional. in particular his own composition and the Gary Moore song "Still got the blues for you" .. My lady and I just couldn't hold the tears back on those. This man is exceptionally talented and certainly one of the giants in the music business, yet with out a trace of conceit. It was a pleasure to meet this man whose warmth and grace made him so easy to talk to, - a man who has simply accepted his talent and got on with the business, and I for one would be more than happy if I had a just a tenth of this musician's talent and experience. We will be looking forward to his next performance and I would suggest that those who did not go last nite should not make the same mistake twice. The stage set and presentation was such that I felt that could have almost been at a "big" venue.

All of the backing tracks were created by Barry himself. Definitely not just yer average Karaoke stuff. He told us it took 5 months work to complete which I can well believe .



So, it could be a while before I can face picking up my guitar again Only joking ... tommorrow I start getting up early and get practicing.



I believe Anna also deserves a mention here. She sang the last song of the evening with Barry and his "band" behind her. This lady seemed to "grow" with the size of the stage set. and gave us a very impressive performance.

so it seems snakes will also be playing a little gig on the 12th of this month ,joining anna at shayna to raise some money hopfully .

so it will be 2 nice gigs this month to see.
