Greek and Turkish leaders in Cyprus are to embark on a new round of "kitchen table diplomacy" in the New Year in an attempt to reach a breakthrough agreement before elections on the northern side of the island in April.

I think the writer of that article, (if written today) was already out of date when he wrote it as the two leaders have already cancelled the idea of talks in each others homes.

Greek and Turkish leaders? If you read this article you will see Mr Damian McElroy gets a few things wrong. Surely he means the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot leaders. I wonder if he has ever visited the island, or Turkey or Greece for that matter.
