what is Alsancak beach like

Can some one please tell me what Alsancak beach is like, also we are staying in the village and is there public transport to get us to the other beaches thanks

.

from the centre of alsancak there are lots of beach "clubs" within 3 miles or so.



a walk approx 15mins is camelot ,from the main road (lapta to girne) the dolmus is every few minutes and they run all day .



escape beach club is a popular one(where monument is?) also before that at deniz hotel is a nice cove ,with full facilites .My favourite would be kevansaray beach near to mercure hotel.



going the other way towards lapta there are also some very nice coves etc .....just explore

there is no charge, only for sun beds/umbrellas and you can take a picnic x

I love Kervansary. Foods not brilliuant, the views make up for it at evening. Here's one from last year.

Where are you staying in the village of Alsancak when you come over,maybe you should say if you are hiring a car,have children who want the beach,tell us what you need and we can all help i'm sure.

Camelot beach is a short walk from the village,good for the children,small charge for use of sunbeds and umberella's if needed,otherwise free.Mare Monte was free also last year.Lets us know.

carlm, if you are staying is a villa in Alsancak you need to rent a car. there is public transport in northern cypus but if you on holiday with you family it would be very unusual not to rent a car. better you rent from the airport and save on taxis.
