A friend is trying to join but the moment he puts his hotmail or yahoo the website denies access to these emails.. Help please?

There is a restriction on joining with such widely available web based emails to prevent trolls from creating spurious addresses. Get your friend to email Izzet@Cyprus44.com and he will be able to sort this out.
