İ am ın north cypus at the moment, weather ıs beautiful. Am hoping to get my apartment ready for rental before İ leave on Thursday - can any of you suggest a good agent to let through partıculary for landloards based ın the UK.

Several apartments in my street are managed by Sunbeams.The tenants and landlords are all very happy with their services. Rent,bills etc are paid on time. Any problems are dealt with asap.So everyone is happy. Including the neighbours !!

Dont think I am having bad luck just want to make sure of the right move - should there be such a thing. There are plenty of places available lapta, alsancak and very much so esentepe but as a non driver and often due to my babysitting work returning late at night I would prefer to be in the girne area, other factors also included in that choice. I shall keep looking, something will be just round the corner...........

I am currently looking for a 3 bed villa and I contacted several estate agents and contact names on this forum. Sunbeam sent me a form to fill in - don't win any prizes for customer service.

Other estate agents have not replied.

Wise properties - contacted me, sent me details and we viewed property within one day - I call that good customer service and she has promised to follow up with other details/properties.

i'm suprised to hear that you were dissapointed with sunbeams and their customer services, if you don't fill in a form they wouldn't have any record of who you are or how to contact you etc.

i have dealt with sunbeams regularly and have found them to be excellent in every respect, nothing seems to be too much trouble, if you phone with a problem or query, i have found that they have been first class in their response.

i'm sure that if you were to use sunbeams, you would not be dissapointed, trust me.

by the way, i don't work for the company, don't have any financial interests in the company etc etc.

i just believe that they do a very good job

I was surprised too. Everyone renting in my street are extremely pleased with the services provided from Sunbeams.Landlords and tenants. As Rattler says the form is a record and also it saves time as you fill in what type of property/budget/area etc.you are looking for.

I can definately tell you not to use North Shore - unless you are going to stitch your landlord up for a lot of money - they rented our apartment and let the tennant go, gave her deposit back and she hadnt paid any bills and there was missing / damaged items of furniture but apparently that was our fault!!!

Thank you all for your advice, I spoke to a number of agents during my visit and decided to go with Sunbeam as Abdel gave me lots of honest and helpful advice and the most reasonable management fee. I felt very comfortable with them.



I guess the proof will come when my apartment is rented or sold – will keep you updated.

North cove Estates have a list of client wanting rental properties, you could try them.
