If anyone fancies a day boat trip my friends run Sabrina2 and 3 from the old harbour. They will give a good group discount 05338692561 or http://www.sabrinayachting.com . They also do private hire and is one of the few boats operating with full public liability insurance and the correct amount of life jackets so man over board after a few brandy sours is not a problem.

Max on sabrina2 30 max on sabrina3 60 but if its a private trip minimum of 6 on the smaller boat. They are very flexible let me know if anyone wants to meet up there and have a look over the boats 3 is having a service at the moment but is still open for a look round.

Probably 2 of us, as long as it wasnt just a chug to anchor at Escape and then another chug to anchor by the Merit!! What about go east for a change of scenery??? May is fine for us and a Monday so Lilli can come as well as I think that is her day off!!

The reason we go to the west is there are more places to anchor but most important if the wind changes direction suddenly as it often does it is very difficult to get back also there is only really Alagadi to stop and last year there was so much rubbish in the sea no one wanted to swim. By the time you have downed a few and had a bloddy good lunch you wont care where you are!!

Yes it was hard work getting back, we always tend to head west and return East, lesson learnt.

I have two friends staying between 17th and 31st May - they have specifically asked me to book boat trip - have been chugging up and down to Escape and formerly Green Coast now Merit since 1995 at least twice a year - seriously boat tripped out but seems to be what visitors like - like Ann would love to go east for a change - but these are good friends - more than 40 years - so put me down for three people.

Right i am trying to whittle down the dates as everyone is here on different days it wont be until after 14th May i am waiting for Lilli to get back to me as to when she is free so once i have an answer i will post a date Ok ? Right any one who cant come on the 24th? Thats the problem everyone is here at different times so getting it organised is not easy. The price to hire the boat for a private trip is £250 but we need a minimum of 15 people. Or we can takem pot luck and go with other passengers. Theprice includes all food only drinks are extra. If you want chicken instead of fish i need to know the day before please.

Another reason for not going East especailly to Alagadi bech is that the turtle are are starting to mate and lay in May, They mate just under the surface so are often hit by boats, Alagadi beach and its waters are meant to be a protected beach and the guys from the Turtle Project are always asking the tour boats to stay away.
