Price of contact lenses?

Hi, husband is due to purchase contact lenses but as we are due (volcanic ash permitting) to fly to TRNC in 10 days, wondered if they are cheaper there. Anyone brought lenses recently? How much, what sort and from where?

yesterday i bought 2 box of daily contact lenses ( there are 15 pair in each box) i founded bit expencive

i bought 2 box for 110 tl.

I used to pay £25 pounds a month in the UK for dailies, but they were always at least 110tl in TRNC. And of course you have no guarantee they will have your prescription when you need them, so you should really give them about 10 days before you actually want to use them in case they need to be ordered. If they don't have what you want when you want they will try to persuade you a different prescription will be ok!

Don't know about contact lenses - but I always get my glasses from Acki Optic (sorry not sure of the spelling) in Girne. They are a fraction of the price for the same thing here in the UK - and offer excellent service - much better than we get here in the UK

Don't know about over here, but i order mine on the net from Daysoft.....£20 for 2 months supply.
