Does anybody know if I am too late to renew my daughters passport in Lefkosa. I was planning to go tomorrow? Just hope im not too late and cant reach high commission on the telephone to ask.



Be grateful if anybody knows anything rather thatn just go there.

You can download the form from the site given by Groucho, fill it in and take it with you. Note they will only accept payment in Euros. If you have everything correct then it will take 10 days according to them but in fact it is usually quicker.

You still have time. The final date is around the end of May - I forget the exact day.

I went last week. 152 Euros.

As msg 3 said , you can download the forms easy.

You can also pay by Debit / Credit card.

I went down two weeks ago today & it took just 7 days to get it back cost Euro 148.

Passport photo 's were taken just down from the HSBC Bank on the left side , a very big photo shop.



Yes i did put my Cyprus Address on the app form.

Just been on to the web page myself as going next week to renew - the final date for taking a passport in to be done here is 28th May, after that its via Madrid and they will update the info on the website. The site is http://www.britain.org.cy - and is our local site direct. Last time they rang after 4 days to say my husbands passport was ready for collection - pretty good! (residency renewals need to learn something!)

BRS have the forms and will be able to verify they are filled in correctly and the phots meet the new standard.

Thanks everybody. 97 Euro to renew my 5 year olds passport and it will be ready in 10 working days. Phew
