Here on Nasreddin Hoca,Ozankoy we had a road party on Saturday 22nd May ( any excuse ) because of our new road.

Catering was done by Moon On The Water Outside Catering and they were great. Can highly recomend them.

If we get our road lighting next we will have another party,it only took six and a half years to get the road.

PS. Still not seen the road sweeper ( which we pay for ) on the road. What's the chances ?

OHHH,a street party how nice..I remember some form the good old days.Our whole street would often get together though out the summer months for a big BBQ get together and the children would all play ball over the nearby fields.we would have races too..The whole street would all join in.what fun we all had. ))

Ah, but Carndi, just think on, if they come and put in the street lights they will have to dig up the new road.........

I'm glad that the light has gone out in Tasli Tarla Cadasi it keeps me awake and stops the view of those" buitiful "stars

KEEP THE NIGHTS DARK & the days bright and warm

Our ironwork is dust free thanks to the new tarmac for those uninitiated we join on Nasreddin Hoca

Frightening now we have speeding JCB's down the mountain side speed bumps and speed cameras next

Got to pay for all that asphalt

Wanderer. We have a road hump warning sign which has been up for about 3 or 4 weeks now. No road humps.

Builders lorry turned up and the man said '' Where do you want the road humps ?

Me '' I dont know. Dont you know ?

Workman '' No ''

Me '' How many can I have ''

Workman '' How many do you want ''

Me '' How much are they ''

Workman '' Free ''

Me '' I'll have three ''

Workman. ''Ok ''

He then put in the warning post and I have not seen him since.

Life here is an adventure.
