Hi there, I am coming over next week and are planning a day trip to Karpaz. Last time(18months agoI went passed Essenteppe and Tatlisu then at road junction went over mountain , then turned left at petrol station for Bogaz, then carried onto Karpaz that way. Is this the way still or has the road been completed to Karpaz, or if not how far can you get and can you get to Karpaz this way. Thanks

Ang ....i went that way a few weeks ago . The road from Tatlisu is all marked out ready but nowhere near finished you can still go that way but it is a bit messy. ! The Bogaz way is the best. I am going again in a few weeks so that is the way i will go.

If you are going all the way to Dipkarpaz, then be aware, that a new road is being driven through on the coast from just outside Yenierenkoy and is quite/very rough. It would be wise to turn off to the right at Ziyamet and follow through to bring you out at the back of Dipkarpaz. Nice little road and nice scenery. Good Luck Cass
