We are going to Bogaz. Are there any little known places we should visit? We have already found out about the 'tree houses' at Livana Hotel near Dipkarpaz. Any help appreciated.

It would be good if people would post where the places are that they are mentioning since we are fairly new to the area and have not heard of any of the above.

Linnyloos - this is the link for the 'tree houses' http://essentialcyprus.com/livana-beach-huts-karpaz-north-cyprus/ - great fun - but don't go if you don't do very basic.....no hairdryer required and loo is very, very basic - but for one night fab!

A visit to the immigration Dept usually is a trip you won't forget in a hurry!

The Blue house is a must. I wont say too much about it but it really is fascinating.

It is in Camlibel, Near Guzelyurt - take the road from Lapta to Guzelyurt at a fork in the road with a military box on the side, take the right fork and then pick up the signs, or ask at the box.

It is run by the military, and I think it is only open at weekends - oh and take your passports, they have to be left at the reception.

Chelpet that's right - not always is there a tour guide that speaks English. However, they do have a script that you can get, and it explains everything really well.

Give Libby a ring on 0533 8458279. She has a wealth of information about the Island and also does specialist tours for small groups to the more unlikely spots on the Island.

Mavi Kosch (Blue House) is a must. Went there last week and we were given our own typed guide in English. Closed on Mondays for cleaning but open rest of week. You have to show your passport. Fantastic place and only 2TL admission! Well sign posted from Camlibel.
