| Why would the British High Commission do visas for Italy?
If you are a UK or any EU citizen you do not need a visa.
Surely the the Italian Embassy or Consulate would be the place to make enquiries.
If you are non-EU you may have to go to the Embassy in Ankara or Consulate in Istanbul.
