Please can anyone definitely confirm when the flyby will be. Peace and Freedom day is Tuesday 20th July and have been advised the flyby will be on that day, but also that it will be on Sunday 18th. We are a little confused (nothing new there then), but also want to make sure we are at the harbour on the right day. Thanks Les

I haven't been able to confirm, but the normal course of events is that they perform on the day, with a practice a couple of days before.

If you look on the Turkish Stars website there is usually a calendar of events that should confirm the day they will be performing in TRNC. Saw it last year - absolutely fantastic!!

http://aerobaticteams.net/Turkish_Stars_Schedule.html According to this schedule, they are performing on 20th July, but I notice that they are back again on November 15th. We saw them last tear and they were spectacular, and it was very reminiscent of watching the Red Arrows perform at Whitby Regatta where they also approach from the sea. Will miss them in July, but will catch the Red Arrows on August 23rd, then hopefully the Red Stars in November.

They will perform on the 20th July normally they fly at 6pm but this will be confirmed on the day as you first have the army/navy/scouts etc parades. Remember on this day all banks and goverment buildings will be closed!

Just seen them at the Waddington Air Show yesterday and they were excellent. The display was tremendous, but the Turkish commentator was an absolute scream....he kept introducing all the Pilots and 'his very Handsome Pilots' and with an accent that sounded like the Meerkat advert on TV, it made all the 100,000 crowd watching cheer with laughter......Well worth seeing them if you get the chance....
