cost of phone call to U.K from my home phone

At long last I now have home phone, but dont have a clue as to prices for calls etc local or to U.K do they supply a list of charges anf if so where do I get one from or does some one out there know what they are, do we even get a bill let alone itemised.

'Bills' are produced on the 6th of the month - you are NOT sent a copy, you need to call in at 'Telephone House' within 14 days to pay your bill - or set up an automatic payment with your bank. If the bill is not paid by the 20th of the month, they cut you off until you call in and pay.

As for call charges, I'm sure that someone, somewhere must know, but I don't

I understand that there is an automated system by which you can find out your current telephone account status, as well as perform various other technological miracles, but again, I don't know how!

But someone who does know may be along in a minute

Have you thought about using skype on the internet. It is very cheap to ring UK.

To see an itemised bill you can go to the office in town with ID ( must be the account holder ) and for a small fee they will produce the bill for you - thats how it always was - unless of course it has changed!!!



As for costs I am not sure the exact costings but to call a UK landline is not expensive at all - I usually speak to my mum for around 3 and a half hours a month and my bill is usually about 21 tl - hope that helps

And you can redirect calls from your landline free by tapping in some numbers.Sorry i cant remember them but someone will know.
