turn down barr8.8 passed green vally to the bottom

Saw the sign today - Alsancak Belediye beach. Must follow the signs soon to see what it is like. Are dogs allowed?

Hiya... Yes, the beach is open - they've done it really nicely. A little cafe and some sunbeds and brollies for hire. When we went down on Monday, or maybe Tuesday (sorry - the days blur!) evening to have a look, it was heaving! Mostly locals with a spattering of expats. Really nice atmosphere - bbq's going on etc.



We used to take our dog down there before it was open - but wouldn't now in high season.

Can you get through from the mare monte or do you turn right at gates and walk down the rickerty ramps.

Go in the Mare Monte Gates and then follow their path way sign posted to the beach. (Plaji).



There is usually a security man at the front gate who is very pleasant and helpful.

Cheers have seen security man so never drove in thinking we weren't aloud and walk down the rickerty way .is the hotel open or has it closed down looks closed so why the guard.
