You will probably find you will have to buy a new one. We were told it is not worth having a repair carried out as the new machines are reasonably priced. It could cost as much to repair it if indeed you can find anyone.

Ozerden Electrics do repairs on coolers. They have a shop in Alsancak - main road next to Severners and another one in Girne - opposite side of the road from Astro.

most of the water delivery guys do repairs of take them to be repaired for you.

I would disagree with msg 2, Tektan repaired ours when it too stopped producing cold water and it was a lot cheaper to repair than buying a new one and 2 years later it is still working!



At least go and get a quote.

Yup, have to agree with Tektans recomendation, have saved me a small fortune last time it was a pool pump re-wind and new bearings 80TL(150+ elsewhere).

Please can someone tell me where Tefkans is? I think the compressor has gone on my cooler and it has only been used for about 5 hours - still under warranty in the UK - typical!!!!

Tektan service is down the street alongside Socrates Hotel in central Girne not far from the Savoy.

It's a one way street, so if you want to drive there, you'll need to 'go round the houses' a bit !
