Truly gorgeous, great beach, good food, nice people, ruined church, Roman causeway - one of the prettiest places on the island.

Hi Linda I have heard great things of this hotel so stayed there for a night the week before last. The setting is beautiful but, just to warn you that, being out of season and the electricity being generator run, there is no lighting in the rooms at night and no hot water to wash with in the morning. Fine but we were unprepared for this and would have chosen another hotel if we had known

Does anyone know if this is still open? We've visited for lunch before, but their website seems to have disappeared.

message 8 after visiting twice for lunch and swim we stayed in the summer for 2 nights ....dear me what a place ...totally shattered my plan for a peaceful getaway . in the summer no electricity ,all night no lights and the bar was in darkness.Romantic eating with just the waves to listen to ??? no way it was horrific . staggered back to the room early because of electricity issue ,couldnt find anywhere around the room The room was like a sweatbox etc etc think it has new owners ?but they need to realise that a basic light in a room isnt a lot to ask cheked out at 5am and didnt stop for breaky ...didnt put me off i want to do it all again next year lol kav
