Re msg 3. It would be nice if they advertised more and I would also be interested how you get dates of the events being held there. I have missed a couple of things due to poor advertising.

the Girne Rehabilitasyon Merkezi (Cheshire Home) is arranging the rock concert at ampitheatre, we have been given the venue for this event and will do our own advertising. We have no control over what how or when the ampitheatre is used and the venue is on offer to any person or operation which wish to arrange an event, thus that operation or person is liable for their own advertising.



Please follow Cyprus44 on which the ticket release date and places where tickets can be purchased will be stated. Also posters giving detail will start to go up also adverts in the Star and Cyprus Today.

So what is the line up,i remember being at altinkyer roof bar for marcos the chefs wine tasteing night,which was a wonderful night,and some guy with a beard came over to my small group and started talking,then because me and my friend could hear the conversation,he moved further away from us,but i was deaf from 4 year old until 9 years i can lip read,so listening to the conversation it went some thing like this,we are being given the ampi theatre for 1 night only and would like you to play,and on went the conversation,and it was said,,now keep this under your hat,ive been wondering and waiting for when it would be advertised before i spoke of it,should be a excerlent night,and a good venue,will be nice if marcos the chef is arranging the bar,he does have some nice red wines.

im sorry,i do not know who the man with the beard was,but he seemed to be organising the ampitheatre shindigg,there was 2 guys actually,1 with a beard,man with beard i could only see his lips,as other guy had his back to me,so i was lip reading the beard man.

i was there with a guy called gary and another guy called barry.

im just surprised that there is no line up advertised yet,it gives people the chance to sort out there diary if we know who is performing.



come on,give us all a clue as to who is playing please.

It's certainly been advertised, but I can't remember where I saw it. The lineup in the advert was:-

Niyal Ozturk and the Secret (8pm), Insanity (9pm), and Jonnie Hawkins and Funky Monkey (10.30pm). Tickets cost 20TL, or 30TL on the door.

On 19th August... Lee posted the details of this concert with confirmed line up... I also made a post just before this giving details todate. Also both Cyprus Today and the Star have reports stating the line up agreed todate.



I will post again on Tuesday giving updated run down of this event as it is hoped to confirm another act.

Cheers for that ianwfs. ive looked all through cyp44 couldnt see nothing, seems to be a few people missing off that line up,as they where asking snakes to play when i was at altinkayer roof top bar a few months ago,unless i lip read wrong!
