We have a camera that requires Rechargable 2100 mAh batteries. Does anyone know where we can buy a battery charger for these batteries? Bob

Bob, it's important to know the size of the batteries: AA? (It must be shown on your current batteries). Also: how many batteries do you want to charge at the time: 2, 4 or 6? Btw: your camera may accept rechargeable batteries of 2700 (I've seen them in TRNC) or even higher (not sure if you can buy them here already, but you certainly can in the UK). Top brands are GP (my choice) and Kodak. You can buy chargers for both brands here and they usually come with four rechargeable batteries.

Thanks Hans, They are AA batteries and the one I used before could charge up to 4 batteries. Just thought you may be able to buy them here. Possibly a good camera shop.

Bob, GP rechargers (and other brands) are for sale at Lemar (Karaoğlanoğlu) and in Girne (forgot the name of the camera shop), but it's the first roundabout from Karaoğlanoğlu, turn left, shop is on your left hand.

Thanks again Hans, The reason we need another one is that we had a complete tidy up of our draws and cupboards and since then we cannot find the battery charger lol! Bob

Yuksel is the name of the camera shop just past the main HSBC. Very helpful shop! Recently had a new frontage so you can see through to the lovely people inside.

Exactly, Maz! That's the name of this (good!) camera shop. Bob: consider what you can buy*: a 24hrs charger OR a 1 hour charger OR a charger you can use in your car. All available for GP and Kodak. * If you only use your camera once in a while, buy the 1 hour charger (you usually have empty batteries shortly before you'd like to use your camera...). Batteries won't last as long as when you use the 24 hrs charger, but they are not expensive anymore. ** Btw: rechargeable batteries lose about 3% of the charge per day.
