| Can anyone tell me if the new road that takes you into Dipkarpaz is open yet, or do you still need to take the alternative route where you turn right miles back? |

| I used the road in August and went into the village. They are working on the road and for a few miles is very uncomfortable to drive on but all is ok despite the heavy construction

| we used it 2 weeks ago, just dodge the diggers and take it slowly! we saw a very brave chap on a motorbike going down it, boy would it hurt if he happened to come off especially as he was in shorts and t-shirt!! |

| When you see this and the new mariana being built, the new hotels in Bafra it certainly seems there is something going to happen soon with the talks.
I could not see companies putting this sort of money out if there was not going to be a return on investment, some one know's something the rest of us don't. |

| Dipkarpaz people were turned back two weeks ago and told to use the Kale Burnu road. There was a ad accident and a young woman got killed. Even our buses did not brave it after that.
We have to take the bus next Tuesday and I will report back again on what I find. |

| Most of it is ok now. There is a short bit that fairly bad but passable. Used it on Thursday, 08.10.10 |
