| Hi
Does anyone know what it costs per metre for wrought iron fencing. I’ve been quoted 115 TL per metre for some fencing around our patio (incl. delivery and install)

| Homefront made me three pieces, no.1 6ft long, no2 8ft long (with handrail down to garden 4ft long) no.3 10 ft long (with handrail down to garden 4 ft long) Total cost 500 TL - 2years ago. Fitted and painted -although I added the gold touch!. A very good job. |

| Stuart, having a villa which has as much steel and rebar as Fort Knox I believe it is difficult to take much guidance from the earlier experiences of others only for the vouching of the quality of service as it is difficult to compare like with like and I understand that steel prices for tradesmen fluctuate considerably like gold bars. I suggest that you seek several quotes ensuring that you are comparing the same weight and intricacy of design then using the most favourable quote ask if anyone has used them and were they satisfied with the outcome. | We have been very happy with the work of a local TC blacksmith, who incidentally is here at the moment and I asked him how much he now quotes : cheap (low gauge) metal - £30 (69tl) per metre. Heavy (high gauge) metal - £60 (138 tl) per metre. Hope that helps. |
