can you buy tobacco over here

I know a silly question but please don't get onto me about it, can you buy Tobacco in the shops over here TRNC, cant buy tobacco in the shops over in Turkey only packs of cigs, but can get as much as I want at any of the outdoor markets, used to buy it by the kilo, 20 lira a kilo and around 10 different brands of tobacco, is it the same over here or is the authority more strict on the sale of tobacco, thanks Robert

I will probably get accused of promoting smoking again but what the hell! Yes you can buy tobacco freely over here by the packet or box not sure of the price but cigs are certainly a lot cheaper here than in EU countries.

In Oz the cost of a 50g packet is 42 lira, or $32.00 AU, thats what I pay, drink has gone through the roof, at up to 56 lira for a bottle of Scotch and carton of beer 24 around 50 lira so hope TRNC is a lot cheaper
