50 cl Gold fassel draft 1.5 tl. YOU LIED. I went tonight,we had 2 x large, 2 x small. So guessed at 2 x 1.5 and 2 x 1.0 = 5. Actual bill was 7 tl. (Still very cheap, but if you advertise a product at a specific price, then charge more, you are either STUPID, or just a CHEAT)

Explanation was that a SMALL gold fassl was 1.5, i.e. 33 cl but a LARGE was 2.0 tL This explains 2 x 2.0 tl and 2 x 1.5 tl.



SO WHY ADVERTISE 50cl (i.e. large) FOR 1.5 TL ??



If you are getting English people to put you adverts on Cyprus 44, then at least get them to get the prices right.

Its not about the 50 kr its the fact they have advertised it on here at a certain price, and if you are drinking (I must say awful beer) all night the 50kr each time mounts up. How many times have we read on here that a supermarket short changes people by 10kr and they go off on one, so yes treemancyprus has a right to complain at 50kr a drink extra.

Vaughan what difference does the time make, was it happy hour only for this advertisement?



Bring on the real keg ale , they could add 10tl and I would pay it, rather than all this boring lager,lager,lager. Who sang that song.....!!!!

The happy hour advertized was from 17.30 to 18.30 Gold Fassl 50cl 1.5TL Outside that time 50cl costs 2TL.



I'm not sure what time treemancyprus was there but I wouldn't be surprised if was outside happy hour.......Your comment about drinking it "all night" also suggests you didn't read the advert either.

You are right. There were a number of posts advertising this offer. The one you have picked does inadvertantly omit the time of happy hour. However, there were a number of other posts that did mention the time and it's a shame that some folks were misled by this particular one.

Personally, I think that the language used in the title of the thread is a bit strong.



As has been pointed out, the reduced price was valid only during the happy hour. It would appear that the original poster did not see the threads advertising the time of the happy hour.



It appears to have been a case of a misunderstanding so it might be prudent to either close the thread or amend the title of the thread as in its' current form, the title would appear to accuse the bar in question of acting untruthfully.



Either way, 1.5TL or 2TL (less than £1) for a pint of beer seems pretty cheap to me.
